An Interdisciplinary Project Hackathon

Industry leaders will be evaluating the event in person. Therefore, participants should prepare for a live demo and presentation. The timing of the finale will be announced shortly.

Build useful applications like ambulance tracker, Intelligent chatbots, stock market app with recommended buy-sell tips, etc.

Robotics and drones

Design drones and robots that can solve some of the pressing challenges of India such as handling medical emergencies, search and rescue operations, etc

Tourism

Ideas that can boost the current situation of the tourism industries including hotels, travel and others.

Financial services

Find a way to resolve billing disputes.

Healthcare

Find a way for monitoring patients and suggesting effective treatments.

Agriculture, Foodtech and rural development

Developing solutions, keeping in mind the need to enhance the primary sector of India - Agriculture and to manage and process our agricultural produce.

Surveillance

Find a way to enable more security in public places and surveillance solutions that detect abnormal activities and inform managers to intervene.

Textile and Fashion

Find a way for investigation and evaluation of fibers, yarns and textile quality.

Fitness and Sports

Ideas that can boost fitness activities and assist in keeping fit.

RULES

This is a team participation hackathon. The team size should be of 3 to 5 members (preferably members from different departments).

Every team should have a faculty as a mentor who can guide and support throughout the hackathon.

You can take any of the suggested domains, but your projects should include programming.

It is sufficient if one member in a team registers. Details of all the team members and project proposals have to be submitted during registration.

Once the hackathon , you will get only one chance to submit your ideas.

Plagiarism will lead to disqualification of the team.

Failing to make the submissions on time will be liable to be rejected.

Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc.

The intellectual property of your code belongs only to your team.

Phase 1 (Registration ends on 10th Jan, 2023)

Registrations and Idea Submissions

Form a team of 3 to 5 members and submit your innovative ideas and solutions as per the project proposal template.

Phase 2 (Starts from 23rd Jan, 2023)

Mid Review

Selected Teams have to report their progress to the respective mentor.

Final Phase (Starts from 16th Feb, 2023)

Grand Finale

Compete in the grand finale and present your innovative ideas. Cash prizes will be given for top 3 projects

UPDATE

The Teams qualified for the final phase are requested to upload all project files including the presentation, source codes and video demonstration to GitHub and add collaborator access to Coding-Club-PSGCT
